The Filters report provides a shopper-usage analysis of the filters on your site. You can view which fields (such as "color") are most often clicked by customers on a day-to-day basis, as well as what field-value sets (such as "color: red") are selected most often. This can be helpful for demographic analysis as well as refining your store's products based on customer demand.
This report has been updated with two new visualizations that pull in a connection to searches that have utilized filters.
Note: Visualizations (widgets) are sorted in descending order.

Filtering report data
To filter the report by a particular value, right-click the value in any visualization or table and choose "Filter". This will update the report to reflect only data for the selected value.
To remove the filter applied to the report, click the "Clear All" button at the top of the page. This will reset the report to its initial state.
Date Selection
The date selector at the top right of the page is used to change the range of dates for which you would like to view details of this report. This reporting can be viewed up to two years back from the current date. By default, the selection is set to the last 7 days.
Search function
You can filter the report to include or exclude certain terms by clicking the "Search (Select)" button at the top left of the page. Click "Include" or "Exclude" at the top of the form to include or exclude selected terms. Use the Search box to find selected terms, then click "Apply" to apply your filters. To remove filters, click "Search (Select)" and un-check the search terms to remove from the filters.
Click "Add values in bulk" to include or exclude multiple terms. Use commas or semicolons to separate multiple values, or enter each value on a separate line. Use the backslash \ before the comma or semicolon to include that comma or semicolon in the value. For example, if the value is "satin top, green", type "satin top\, green".
This is how the text would appear for two values (one item called "satin top", another item called "green"):
satin top, green
This is how the text would appear for a single value:
satin top\, green
Once all values are entered, click "Add values" to confirm:
Search/Filter Summary
This table gives information about the number of filters used when a search query is made.
Top 10 Popular Filters
This visualization displays the top 10 filters used by customers ordered by the count (number of times these filters were used).
Total Filters / Refinements
This number shows the total number of filters clicked for the entire duration of the selected date range.
Average Filters / Refinements per Day
This number shows the average number of filters clicked per day for the duration of the selected date range.
Filters
The stacked bar chart represents the filters that customers use.
Filter Summary Table
The Filter Summary table gives a high-level overview of how many of each filter type (eg. "color") was clicked over the selected date range. It displays the field, label (external customer facing name), and the total count of how often that particular filter has been used.
Filter
The Filter column in this table shows the filter field name that was selected by shoppers.
Label
The Label displays the shopper-facing name for this filter.
Total
The Total column displays the total number of times that this filter field was selected by shoppers over the selected date range.
Value Breakdown
Similar to the filter summary, this table displays the field name and label of filters along with the values selected for a given filter. For example, the value "women's" was used in a filter called "ss_gender" during the selected date range.
The Filters report provides a shopper-usage analysis of the filters on your site. You can view which fields (such as "color") are most often viewed by customers on a day-to-day basis, as well as what field-value sets (such as "color: red") are selected most often. This can be helpful for demographic analysis as well as refining your store's products based on customer demand.
This report counts standard filters used in search results and refinements. For example, if you search for "medium red dress", this action is captured as a search with filters that may be pre-applied to power the exact search result.
If you then apply a price filter "low" on your medium red dress search, we consider that as an additional filter count.
Note: This report does not include category page filters. For example, if you browse from the home page to the category "dresses" and filter for "size medium", that action is not included in the results. This metric will be coming soon in dedicated reports for category.
Note: For performance reasons, this report is limited to the top 10,000 filters.
