The Filters report provides a shopper-usage analysis of the filters on your site. You can view which fields (such as "color") are most often clicked by customers on a day-to-day basis, as well as what field value sets (such as "color: red") are selected most often. This can be helpful for demographic analysis as well as refining your store's products based on customer demand.
The numbers shown on this report reflect both refinement and category page filter interactions.
Note: Visualizations (widgets) are sorted in descending order.

Filter Summary Table
The Filter Summary table gives a high-level overview of how many of each filter type (e.g., "color") was clicked over the selected date range. It displays the field, label (external customer facing name) and the total count of how often that particular filter has been used.

Label
The Label displays the shopper-facing name for this filter.
Total

Value Breakdown
Similar to the filter summary, this table displays the field name and label of filters along with the values selected for a given filter. For example, the value "women's" was used in a filter called "ss_gender" during the selected date range.
The Filters report provides a shopper-usage analysis of the filters on your site. You can view which fields (such as "color") are most often viewed by customers on a day-to-day basis, as well as what field-value sets (such as "color: red") are selected most often. This can be helpful for demographic analysis as well as refining your store's products based on customer demand.
This report counts standard filters used in search results and refinements. For example, if you search for "medium red dress", this action is captured as a search with filters that may be pre-applied to power the exact search result.
If you then apply a price filter "low" on your medium red dress search, we consider that as an additional filter count.
Note: For performance reasons, this report is limited to the top 10,000 filters.

Searching the report
By default, the report includes filter data for all refinements and categories. However, you may click the "Search" button at the top of the page and use the tabs along the top to include or exclude terms.
A new feature in this report lets users view category filters only or hide category filters. To do this:
- To view the report with category filters only, stay on the "Include" tab and select {Null}. With {Null} selected in the Include tab, the report will show the category filters only.
- To exclude category filters (as in the previous version of this report), go to the "Exclude" tab and select {Null}.
Note: Do not select {Null} in both the Include and Exclude tabs. The report will show nothing in that case.
Below is an example of how the report would appear with only categories included.
If you select {Null} in the Include tab and apply your changes, the report will appear as follows:
You may also search for specific keywords within this report; simply click the "Search" button at the top of the page. Search for the desired term and click "Apply" to save this refinement.
The report will update to display your selected search.
To remove the applied search term, click the "Search" button again and un-check the search term, then click "Apply".
The report will reset to its original state.
