Overview
We’ve launched a powerful new Data Management feature: Master & Partner Revert & Alerts. This functionality is designed to protect your product visibility and revenue by automatically monitoring feed builds and reverting to the last successful version if significant product drops are detected.
Feature Summary
Master & Partner Revert & Alerts helps ensure your product feeds remain stable and accurate—especially during automated updates. If a feed build results in a large product count drop, the system will automatically roll back to the previous version and notify you immediately.
Key Features
Automated Monitoring
Every time a feed build runs, our system checks for product count drops.
This applies to both Master and Partner feeds.
Customisable Drop Thresholds
Set your own acceptable drop percentage (default: 30%).
Tailor this threshold to your business needs or partner agreements.
Automatic Revert
If the product drop exceeds the set threshold, the feed will automatically revert to the last stable version.
This protects against errors like incorrect exclusion rules or data sync issues.
Proactive Alerts
Stay informed with real-time notifications:
Email Alerts: Sent to global/event recipients with detailed info about the detected drop.
In-App Notifications: Visible within the IR App for immediate awareness.
Benefits
- Revenue Protection: Prevents significant revenue loss due to accidental product drops (e.g., incorrect exclusion rules)
- Reduced Downtime: Minimises the impact of errors with quick automatic reversion
- Enhanced Control: Provides merchants with flexible, customisable drop thresholds
- Improved Time to Resolution: Proactive alerts enable rapid identification and resolution of feed issues
